Asus Eee Slate
This is not a tablet. Once this state of mind, it is appropriate to question what it really is. The most appropriate definition would probably be computer into several pieces.
For this to be a tablet that deserves this name, would have had the Eee Slate is really usable as such or it is not the case. Already, there is the weight of nearly 1.2 kg, almost that of an ultra-lightweight 13-inch laptop. The Eee Slate is heavy to hold hands and then there is congestion. If the measurements of 312 x 208 x 17 mm are not necessarily talking, width and length are substantially the same waters that ultraportable 13.3-inch Acer TimeLine.
Furthermore, it is actually a PC, it very well equipped especially considering the size and thickness. Intel Core i5 processor and 64 GB SSD, the Eee Slate would disgrace many ultra-portable. As with a PC is Windows 7 Home Premium and officiating in 64 bits, at least on our test machine. As Asus has not added any overlay touch or touch specific program, the Eee Slate is not made to be manipulated and fingers. Moreover, a stylus is stylishly housed in Hull is already an admission in itself!
If you forget any idea of mobile tablet linked to a market application and as one approaches the matter from the perspective laptop is already more sense. Moreover, Asus delivers a wireless Bluetooth keyboard quality since this is a Microsoft curved (the Bluetooth Mobile Keyboard 6000). Shame not to have been after logic and not providing a Bluetooth mouse too. It also does not fail to acquire one. But then why the hell not have a laptop designed slim classic rather than offer a kit.
Probably to surf fashion shelves but you can still find it of interest. The Eee Slate can be placed in the hybrid category that seeks to combine the advantages of a Windows notebook and a tablet.
